A conversation with my cat
You saw my bag of food and you leapt on the table. With a joyful mew you convinced me and I set the French fry before you. You sniffed it and refused, only to meet me again with the same gleeful sound. "Do you know what it is you want? What you're asking for? I've offered you fries." Your eyes answered hastily. "I know what I want is more than what's simply placed before me. I'll turn down a thousand fries, a thousand good opportunities, because I know in my heart what chicken is worth." Now we're both exercising the same patience.
